Virtuemart Homework is Microsoft Access Application for Virtuemart Component.

I develop this application for my own purpose and objectives. I am sharing this applications to virtuemart lovers.

The concept is to directly connect with Virtuemart mySQL database tables. Via MySQL ODBC connector.

VMHW, is small Microsoft access application, it directly connect with mysql database and cling with your Virtuemart Data Fields and bring all your shop data into a desktop application format. It will able you to edit/add new categories and products data into virtumart core tables faster than working at web browsers, hence all changes at your site pages will be made as you type.

VMHW able you to quickly add new categories, add new products edit existing products data, prices, discount and all other most important task in a desktop application format. No Need to login at admin panel just for one record change.

Just create a system dsn vmhw and select database of your virtumart website. Run this application and explore your shop data right in a desktop application format, feel your shop right on your finger tips and enjoy quick data saving / editing /adding from manufacture to product sorting

You do not have to install any thing at your joomla website, It just need Microsoft Access 2007 and mysql odbc connector installed at your machine.

Complete guide how to use this application which will save your time and will help you to keep your virtuemart website products and categories updated.

What can this application do?

1. 1. Add New / Edit Categories. (No Wait just add new add new add new …..)

1. 2. Quick Sort Categories List.

1. 3. Publish/Unpublish/,Flypage /Browse page.

1. 4. Get all products of any single categories and then edit the products, prices, adjust discounts, quick sort products, publish/unpublish, Availability, Stock Update. In excel list style.

1. 5. Print All Shop products data in Category wise, Print Products of a selected category.

Add New/Edit Products.

1. 1. Quick sort products in a category.

1. 2. Add New/Edit Products and putting in desire Category from list ((No Wait just add new add new add new …..)

1. 3. Change/Shuffle Products to another category.

1. 4. Product Regular Prices, Prices for each shopper group.

1. 5. Select manufacture and vendor for product.

1. 6. Edit/update Stock, Height, Weights, Length, Unit.

1. 7. Create/edit Product Attributes.

1. 8. Product Short Descriptions in RICH Text Format, Product Detail Description Rich Text Format.

1. 9. Feature Product, Selected Related Products.

1. 10. Products Discount Attachment, Discount in Number and Percentage.

1. 11. Select Manufacture and then get products of related manufacture & Edit / update products field just like excel,

1. 12. Order Main Page, Filter Order by customers & Print, Filter order by status & Print, Print Invoice/Order, Print Customer Data with complete Banking information.

All you will do above in one window operation. No Need to install any component/modules or plug-in into your joomla website.

Ok then install a webserver like apachi or xampp in your computer first. Export your mysql database from your webserver to computer as text or zip file and then import to your local mysql server via phpmyadmin.

connect this application through mysql connector and you must write LOCAL HOST INSTEAD OF WWW.abc.com
